Robb Stauber -Owner

Robb recently served as head coach for the US Women's Olympic Gold Medal team in Pyeongchang where his squad won the gold. He founded Goalcrease in 2002 after his professional playing career which included 4 seasons with the LA Kings. In 1988, Robb won the Hobey Baker Award for college hockey's top player. Robb's drive and creative vision are at the heart of Goalcrease training and services.

Jeff Hall

Jeff has been a full coach at Goalcrease since its inception in 2002. He played at Edina High School, winning a state championship in 1997 before playing 4 years at Bethel University. Passionate about skill development, he has overseen the training of hundreds from mites to pros. Jeff resides in Eden Prairie with his wife, and 2 kids.

Derek Bishop

A Goalcrease Instructor since 2007, Derek has also coached goalies for several local high school and Jr hockey teams. As a former Goalcrease client who played Varsity hockey for Osseo and 2 years of Junior Hockey, Derek is an expert teacher that kids can relate to.

Dan Hoehne

Dan has been a mainstay at Goalcrease since 2004. He is also the goalie coach for Tri-City in the USHL and the NAHL's Chippewa Steel.

Owen Zeumer

Owen is an instructor and Equipment Sales Manager at Goalcrease. His knowledge and understanding of the equipment makes him an invaluable member of our team. A Chicago area native, he eventually played goalie for Grand Rapids HS, Michigan Tech, and St. Olaf College. He has been a volunteer coach in the Roseville Youth Association where he taught science for 18 years and previously coached the Girls Varsity team. Owen lives there with his wife and four kids.

Hank Fairchild

Since 2013, Hank has been a gear fitting expert at Goalcrease. He is widely regarded as of the most knowledgible goalie equipment experts in Minnesota. Hank also enjoys books, raquet sports, and Baltimore-based pro sports teams.

Josh Kenney

Josh has been a certified Goalcrease Instructor since 2021, shortly after he graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in psychology. He grew up playing goalie for Burnsville where he guided the team to the state tournament in 2016. In college he played 3 seasons for UND's ACHA club team.

Chris Esposito

"Espo" is a full time dad and part-time goalie coach these days. Previously, he coached full time at Goalcrease while also serving as goalie coach for the U of MN Gophers and UMD Bulldogs Women's teams. Espo's high energy level and enthusiasm are a perfect fit at Goalcrease.

Bailey Rosch

Bailey was a longtime, loyal student of Goalcrease before he began coaching with us in 2024. He played high school and Jr hockey in his hometown of Alexandria, MN. He is a competitive stock car racer and a student working towards a degree in Special Education.

Matt Roberts

Matt began his Goalcrease tunure in 2024. As a part time fire fighter in Eden Prairie, he knows how to teach preparation and responsibility to young goalies. Matt played football and hockey while growing up in Eden Prairie as well.

Jake Levinski

A Chirocractor by trade, Jake also serves as a part time Certified Goalcrease Instructor. He played for St. Cloud Cathedral high school.

Zach Richards

A Certified Goalcrease Instructor since 2023, Zach is also the Goalie Coach and the Director of Hockey Operations for the University of St. Thomas Men's NCAA program.

Will Pinney

Will played goalie growing up in St. Louis Park and attended Goalcrease regularly. Currently a business student at Iowa State University, Will is a rink rat who brings a mountain of positive energy onto the ice every time.

Alexa Dobchuk

Alexa played for and graduated from St. Thomas University after a stand out career at Eden Prairie High School where she won a state championship and was named Sr. Goalie of the Year. She has a full time job as a Clinical Research Specialist with Imricor and helps out part time at Goalcrease.

Jackson Hjelle

Jackson had a successful playing career at Delano High School and Gustavus University. He is currently pursuing his Physical Therapy Doctorate at the University and Minnesota.
