Owen Zeumer
Beyond High School:
Owen went on to play goalie for two years at Michigan Tech University.
He then spent two years at St. Olaf College.
Owen set the record for the most saves in the M.I.A.C. conference tournament
championship game, stopping 61 of 63 shots. His performance in the M.I.A.C.
tournament won him the conference tournament MVP.
Following his college career, Owen attended a minor-pro training camp with the
Utica, NY Bulldogs of the Colonial Hockey League.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Education.
Coaching History:
After ending his competitive playing career, Owen taught Physics at Roseville Area High School for 18 years.
He spent four years as the Head Coach for Roseville High School's Girls Varsity hockey team.
He was an instructor at GoaliesOnly Inc. and served as the Goalie Coach for Hockey Ministries International Summer Camps.
Goalcrease History:
Owen attended the Goalcrease for recreational training, and in September of 2007 he became a certified Goalcrease Instructor.
